He was afraid to shoot it because of all the negatives he read about it. He has also never fired a handgun before. The first was a Kel-tec PF-9 9mm for around $300, the second was a Taurus PT111 for between $350 and $400, and the last was a Glock 19 or 26 for around $500. He didn't want to spend more than $500.
