I wouldn't say it's increased. Pony drop rate is about 20-25% on average from what we've experienced. RNG is RNG, Streaks happen. If you're on Materia, doing it unsynced on Party Finder is basically a requirement. There's usually one a day during prime time hours. Other DCs, you either wait or you can try the unsynced run on Party Finder method.
