Act ffxiv not working.
- Go into the plugins tab then the ffxiv settings tab below it. You should see two blank boxes. One should say "Disable parsing from network data." Check that, restart the program (as administrator) and give it a go. Also, disable windows firewall if you haven't already. It messes with ACT sometimes as well (unless you've already made the ...I've intalled it and I'm using the latest version of the FFXIV plugin. I'm also running as admin. For some reason, the program won't parse at all. There's nothing showing in the main log window. FFXIV-APP works fine for me, but I really wanted to try ACT.The same thing happened to the Updater window last ACT version. Seems like a Visual Studio bug that randomly detaches event-handlers when you open the window in the designer. The work around is to close the window the same way you opened it. Right-click the timer panel. Do not click the [x].Go to your "Allow an app through windows firewall" option and click change settings. Look for something called DFA Assist and delete all mentions of it. Now click "Allow another app" and search for your ACT.exe. I had the same issue after using the auto install microapp for ACT and DFA Assist was causing major confusion with the firewall.
Click "MopiMopi2" under Web Skins in ACTWebSocket tab and then Click Copy URL. Click "MopiMopi2" under Overlay Windows in Overlay Proc and then click "close". Paste the URL under Overlay List in Overlay Proc and then click "New". Click "MopiMopi2" under Overlay Windows and check the URL type on the right side.

It works now. Thanks all for the help! I just set this up for my wife. Biggest problem I had was that ACT needs to be allowed through the firewall. Add an exception by application and find the ACT exe. (there's several in the directory, I don't remember which, so try them one by one until you find it) Thank you!
