May 2005 edited May 2005. I have a PSW404 Subwoofer. I have never had any problems with it or noticed any strange behavior. While watching a movie the other day, I noticed that I wasn't hearing the normal bass sound. I checked my subwoofer and the power light was off. I tried flipping the switch from on/off/auto.

The SVS NSD-12 is no slouch though. Nice and compacted and delivers really good bass. The NSD-12 definitely sounds better and stronger compared to the PSW505 and is smaller.
