First I grind the heads of the rivets flat, then I carefully center punch and drill with a small diameter bit to put a hole all the way through each rivet, the I use a 1/4 inch bit to drill off the heads down into the stub. Almost done demilling/disassembling my 1967 Romanian kit. 'Almost', is the key word here. No problem with the trigger guard, or any of the other rivets. Got to the barrel pin, gave it a few good whacks with a sledge hammer and punch, it never budged. Thinking about buying one and a completed receiver rolled and welded (getting rid of the full auto trigger group prior). Ends up being 1800 bucks total for a mostly german gun. The last bit of welding is well within my capabilities.

You drill them out. Probably 100 videos on youtube about demilling a kit. Drill into the middle of the rivet, use a small bit, ile 1/8". Once you drill most of the way through, and ONLY IF YOU DRILLES IT FAIRLY CENTER, then step that bit up to a 5/32 (I think) and drill half way in. Then put a 5/32 punch in that hole and pop the rivet head off.
